Ellie Talebian is a DJ, broadcaster and Head of Mission, Growth, Partnerships & Impact at Last Night A DJ Saved My Life. She explores how music connects people, cultures and communities, bringing together sounds, stories and creative collaborations from around the world.
Live from the WOH Radio stage, Ellie takes us on a journey through the music, people and communities shaping creativity across borders. Alongside music from friends and ambassadors of Last Night A DJ Saved My Life – including Nightmares on Wax, Steve Mac and Seamus Haji – her show features exclusive and unreleased recordings created through LNADJ's Get Equipped music education programme in Tanzania and Sierra Leone. Expect Afro-rooted rhythms, percussive electronic sounds and collaborative productions made with local musicians, choir leaders, young artists and producers, where musical traditions meet through shared creativity and cultural exchange.
Ellie also showcases music from the collaborative Sierra Leone album No Input No Output, alongside stories from the community studios where the recordings were born. Part musical journey, part living archive, this is a celebration of collective creativity, cultural exchange and the power of music to connect people across borders.
