Kate Magic and Kirsty Hawkshaw met in 1989, at the height of the UK underground rave scene. Kirsty comes from a musical family, and found herself at the heart of the new music ecosystem being birthed in the UK, with close connections to Orbital, Spiral Tribe, Tonka sound system, and as the singer in Opus III, with whom she made the rave anthem, “It’s A Fine Day.”
