Scar is a multi-disciplinary artist working across visual and sonic media, representing Kindred, a London-based radio station and shop for vinyl, cassettes and books.

As a co-founder of Kindred, Scar has helped shape one of the city’s most beloved DIY music hubs. She also heads AIRD TAPES, a female-only limited edition cassette label.

This show was recorded on a rainy evening, beginning with experimental ambient and gradually building toward bass-heavy dubstep. The mix highlights the women in my community and features two tracks from my Scratch album by alicia and yingtuitive, released at the end of last year alongside my publication.
