For the second installment of Love Cuts this month, Lovellious invites Footshooter, a producer/DJ raised in his hometown of Stroud and now residing in South East London, as well as a key figure in the broken beat renaissance of the past decade.

The music follows their open conversation, twisting through rare groove, broken beat and soulful house as they reflect on the cultural institutions that shaped Footshooter, the realities of being an artist in today’s climate, and eventually loop back to Stroud — looking ahead to the upcoming Jazz Stroud festival weekend.
