Giovanna Boffa is a radio host and curator currently based in Chicago, Illinois. She takes and blends local and global sounds, caters to all, listens to none, and hurries slowly. Listeners can expect a break in their routines.

This second segment features a conversation with Chicago-based artist, educator and musician Kioto Aoki. Her new album “Miminari” in collaboration with Haruhi Kobayashi (on electronics / vocals) and Mai Sugimoto (sax) released November 9th on Asian Improv Records. Kioto walked me through the cultural legacy she carries and her own contemporary practice here in Chicago.
