Every month, Zaereo unveils fresh music from across the world on New Voices, featuring an artist who will delve into their record, sound and inspirations.

Zaereo is a radio host, DJ and curator currently based in London with close ties to her past European homes. Connecting international rock, jazz and all manner of experimental meditations, she holds a proper place for the sounds of the global South and cross-cultural exchanges.

For her first show of 2026, she speaks with Sydney-based duo Coastal Scrub about their bilingual and genre-defying new EP El Rojo, which explores the intersection of latin rhythms and psychedelic garage rock, plus she shares lots of new uplifting, dubby sounds.
