Nachete is a DJ & record collector from Buenos Aires, Argentina, usually broadcasting on Radio Relativa, selecting records and tapes from the south of the globe.
He went to meet Litto Nebbia at Melopea, Litto Nebbia’s label, which is gonna be turning 40 years of existence soon and almost 700 releases, to have a conversation with him about his music, his label, his work as a producer and his collaborations with other musicians. Nachete took some of his records and some records in which he produced and participated in. They selected some tracks to play on the show and to hear from him how they were recorded: Rodolfo Alchourron’s Sanata y Clarificacion LP 2 where Litto participates in vocals on the song “No se No Se”, Ne, Mirth Defilpo’s Canciones Para Perdedores LP, Quintino Cinalli Cambio de Planes CD, despertemos en america, america en cueros & la montaña va a la escuela cd's by leda valladares.
We visited his studio called Estudio del Nuevo Mundo while he was rehearsing for a special show in which Litto recently played songs from bazar de los milagros and fuera del cielo albums. During this conversation they spoke about many of his albums being re-released in Europe now and a new compilation about him. He discussed how he met Eduardo Mateo during the 1960s in Buenos Aires while he was playing with Los Gatos Salvajes, also about a recent recording with Quintino Cinalli and the chilean bass player Christian Galvez. They spoke about the albums: Nebbia’s band, Canciones Para Cada Uno, his recordings with Uruguayan artists, and more.
