Sound of Women is an initiative by Mumbai-based rapper Krantinaari and percussionist-singer Charu, empowering women artists across India by preserving folk traditions while inspiring new expressions through contemporary music collaborations.

Sound of Women collaborator Noni-Mouse shares a selection of south asian-coded idm, percussive and house music, along with some tracks from FOLKSOUL – Sound of Women's new compilation in collaboration with Studio Monkey Shoulder, releasing first on Bandcamp on 6 February 2026.
