London based reissue label Time Capsule focuses on the music that captures human consciousness from different time and space.
For its sixth release, they reissue a Brazilian singer-songwriter Serginho Meriti's first album Bons Momentos from 1981. The curator of this record Dom Harding, creates a potted history of Brazil by placing the importance of Africa at the centre, and describes through the music, the social and musical influence Black America had on an epochal shift in Brazil at the time of Serginho's career. Dom also provided a Book List and Watch List for a deeper understanding of the topics covered in the show and in his liner notes.
