‘The Seeds We Carry’; It Takes A Village with Cosmo Sofi…
The next edition of We Out Here Festival: It Takes A Village weekly radio series is here. A show paving the road to the festival, connecting artists from across the line up.
For this episode, Cosmo Sofi steps onto the airwaves ahead of August with The Seeds We Carry. Responding to the theme It Takes A Village, she reflects on the communities, spaces, and sounds that have shaped her musical journey over the past two decades, from Montevideo to London.
A Uruguayan DJ and graphic designer based in London, Cosmo Sofi is guided by curiosity and a deep appreciation for musical lineage. Her eclectic and soulful selections explore the roots of genres across time and place, connecting sounds through a shared sense of history, culture, and discovery.
Through music and storytelling, the show traces the full circle moments that have defined her path, from burning CDs for her first DJ set at fifteen to finding creative communities through Total Refreshment Centre, Worldwide FM, and eventually becoming part of the We Out Here family as the festival's graphic designer and a performer across the last four editions.
A celebration of the villages that plant seeds in us long before we realise what they're growing.
Where voices connect and communities grow, culture is almost always built together…
