Valentine Comar’s “Breakfast in…” series is back, continuing her exploration of mornings through sound with guest mixes curated around the breakfast theme.

This week, she welcomes Gaby D’Annunzio with her Breakfast at Sea guest mix: "An ocean inspired mix for the early hours, shaped by soft morning light and field recordings I gathered by the shore. A gentle castaway moment to start your day."

Gaby D'Annunzio is a UK-based DJ and broadcaster, a vinyl devotee who's spent years tracing the threads between music scenes and the cultural narratives running through them. A key figure in Berlin’s music community, she co-founded Open Music Lab and served as a community organiser at Refuge Worldwide, helping build space for emerging artists and inclusive creative exchange. Now based in London, she continues programming radio across Europe and holds a residency on Sister Midnight FM. In 2026, she'll host a series of shows on Resonance FM in collaboration with Counterpoints Arts.
