DJ Sotofett from Moss, Norway, a resident at Tresor Berlin, has spent the last two decades shaping the extended club and leftfield scene through his prolific output, wide-ranging collaborations, myriad aliases, and remixes. Sotofett’s productions mirror his DJ sets, spanning tight, direct Techno and Electro to long-form journeys through Soul, Jazz, Funk, Hip-Hop, Dub, and real House Music. In 2024, Sotofett launched "Resonance of Dub", a club concept strictly for the spectrum of dub-resonating music: Steppers, Dubstep, Disco-Dub, Lovers Rock, Dub-Techno, and Jungle and beyond. The concept was established to ultimately present Dub in a club setting while still emphasizing Sotofett's "in the mix," club-focused DJ perspective. The label part of "Resonance of Dub" centers it's output around Sotofett's regular collaborators Ekowmania, Jimi Tenor and LNS - primarily presenting 12" and 7" vinyl releases. Honest Jon's continues his Afro, Dub, and Jazz explorations with four 12” EP releases starting in 2026; his classic Techno and Electro collaboration with LNS is featured on Tresor; and recent releases include his solo album, DJ Sotofett & the Colours of Computer Generated Instruments, on Clone West Coast Series, the collaborative Dub-Techno DJ double-pack "WANIA mk1", the forthcoming TR-909 focused "WANIA m5g" album, as well as the Afro-dub/Jazz LP "No Warranty Dubs" with Jimi Tenor & Kabu Kabu. Beyond his maverick imprint WANIA he establish Sex Tags Mania (2004) and Sex Tags Amfibia (2005), contributes iconic graphic work to records and flyers, and works as a cutting engineer at Manmade Mastering in Berlin.
