‘Change The Scene’; It Takes A Village with Club Soda…
The next edition of We Out Here Festival: It Takes A Village weekly radio series is here. A show paving the road to the festival, connecting artists from across the line up.
For this episode, Club Soda's Emma Selwyn steps onto the airwaves ahead of joining us at We Out Here. Responding to the theme It Takes A Village, they celebrate the power of community, creativity, and making space for everyone to participate in music culture.
Club Soda is a community of creatives, musicians, DJs, gig goers, and campaigners with learning disabilities, championing more accessible and inclusive live music spaces across the UK. Hosted by Emma Selwyn, the show features selections from this year's We Out Here line up alongside music chosen by the Croydon based Club Soda community.
The broadcast also shines a light on Change The Scene, Club Soda's nationwide tour bringing learning disabled artists and audiences together while challenging perceptions of who music spaces are for. Expect a taste of Go Sista's sound ahead of her DJ set at Near Mint Records on the Friday of We Out Here.
Where voices connect and communities grow, culture is almost always built together…
